Here they are! Just a few projects we’ve worked on since starting the website. Our plan is to design awesome new projects and list them here for the world to see.
mbedGC
An open source video game console designed using the mbed microcontroller. It was a senior design project created by 5 friends (J.P. being one of them). The project took 8 months to complete and much of the development was recorded exclusively on Armtronics.
mbedPG
It is similar to the mbedGC, using the same type of microcontroller. It is a much simpler device since it uses an LCD device and has no interface to a Nintendo Wii nunchuck. The plans are available for anyone who’d like to make their own.
Arduino-based Magnetic Card Reader
First project done for the website, we describe how to interface a surplus magnetic card reader with a Sanguino. The results of the card reader are then displayed on the LCD display. Like all other projects, the source code and schematics are available so you can make your own.
